Into The Wild
Yesterday I finally watched "Into The Wild" with my Mom and sister, and before I say what I think about the movie I'll tell you what my mom and sister said just before the movie started:
Mom: Everyone only seems to know her from "Twilight" and are jealous of her. That's why they don't like her.
Sister: I think she is brilliant.
Mom: Me too, she's awesome
I am such a proud sister/daugher <3 !!
Storyline:After graduating from Emory University, top student and athlete Christopher McCandless abandons his possessions, gives his entire $24,000 savings account to charity and hitchhikes to Alaska to live in the wilderness. Along the way, Christopher encounters a series of characters that shape his life.
ONE MORE THING: I'M NOT GOOD AT SUMMARYS, THIS IS GONNA SUCK! BUT I REALLY WANTED TO SHARE MY THOUGHTS.
Warning: there "might" be spoilers, especially at the end.
Okay, the beginning of the movie was, in my opinion, a tad bit boring. It shows a lot of nature and a lot Emile Hirsch (which is not bad, because I think he is incredibly good looking ;).)
The middle of the movie was confusing, in one moment he was in Mexico and then he was back in his green bus. In the next scene he is in LA, and then again in the green bus. But maybe it was just confusing to me because I was soooo tired, but I really wanted to watch this movie.
At the end I had tears in my eyes, I never expected him to die. Really. I was like "Don't die, Don't die, DON'T YOU DARE TO DIE" But begging (of course) didn't help ;(
If you ignore the end, and the moments where I was confused, this movie was really funny. I really have to watch it again, when I'm really awake.
"Spoiler" End. You can read without worries now :)
Kristen's role in this movie is very small. But not too small to not notice her incredible acting skills.
Seriously if I hear one more time that Kristen can't act I'll hit you with all my DVD's of hers and force you to watch them until you realize that you're just a dumb idiot who is jealous that she is prettier, sexier, nicer, funnier and better than you!
But in all seriusness: Watch this Movie. It's one the few movies who have deeper meaning.
"When you want something in life, you just gotta reach out and grab it." Chris (Emile Hirsch) to Tracy (Kristen)
